FYI-a friend’s post from Facebook.

I am hoping this question is entirely unneeded on a group like this, because you're a big step above the knowledge we've encountered elsewhere. But just in case -

ARE YOU GETTING YOUR PUPPY BUYERS OFF GRAIN FREE/BOUTIQUE/EXOTIC FOODS? IF NOT, DO IT THE HECK NOW.

I can't tell you the number of absolutely gutted and grieving dog owners I've dealt with over the last six months. You have a responsibility to get your own and your purchasers' dogs on safe foods now, until formulations can change and the AAFCO can address the huge problems in boutique foods.

Sad news

Both Hazel and Pi are gone.  Both to cancer.  At 11 1/2 years old Hazel developed bone cancer in a rear leg.  I had to put her to sleep a little over a week ago when she could no longer use the leg.  Pi had a large abdominal tumor.  I put him to sleep today.  The vet said it was probably lymphoma or hemangiosarcoma.  He was 2 months shy of his 11th birthday.  I would like to think they are together somewhere.  I am broken.  But, I have Hazel's 2 daughters and I have Pi's daughter and son.  Their legacy lives on.
