We have had quite the weekend! We started it on Friday at AK-9 doing agility where Bonnet ran in 4 runs and Q’d in three! This earned her another QQ and 5 points in Time to Beat!
Then we traveled up to Shelburne, Vt for the BOTC obedience and rally trial. Bonnet got 2 new titles!! Rally Excellent (RE) and her CDX. She got placements in every class, including two blue ribbons in open obedience because we were the only open A qualifiers!! and both rally and obedience were classes of 8-9 exhibitors. Sooooo many pretty ribbons!
Teasel also played in the rally ring. She was unable to cope with being off leash in rally advanced ring so I moved her to rally intermediate and she placed third and fourth for 2 legs towards her RI title.
Bonnet is now
Sterling's Bluebonnet V Krw CDX RE MX AXJ OF
I am incredibly proud of Bonnet. She was shown in open obedience only 6 times (3 in July and 3 this weekend) to achieve this CDX title. She is the most wonderful, willing, biddable dog!! She is only my 4th dog with a CDX. This journey is not an easy one but to succeed at agility one day and then immediately switch gears to rally and obedience and succeed again is just awe inspiring! I LOVE this dog!!
