Bonnet and I are devastated to report that due to the horrendous NE blizzard on Monday 2/23, we were unable to accomplish the breeding we had hoped for. We had multiple potential plans in place to navigate the storm and get the breeding done but it was not to be. Everyone at several vet clinics (Infinity Canine, Broadview Repro, River Road Vet Clinic, and Lamoille Valley Vet Clinic) pitched in and tried to help us out. I had offers of places to stay the night before, and/or after the breeding. I made various plans depending on the circumstance. But the bottom line is that you can’t do a breeding without sperm and Fed Ex let us down. The box shipped on Saturday (priority/next day) and due to arrive on Monday, never even left Tennessee until Tuesday. There was no way to get another box. So, no breeding, no puppies. We will try again next time. We are all so very, very sad!!
